Privacy policy

The short version

You can read every lesson without an account. The rebuilt site stores nothing about you on a server, because it is a set of static pages. The only information collected is what you choose to type into a form or what your browser sends as part of any ordinary web request.

Information you send

If you use the contact form, the kit request form or the email signup, the values you enter are validated in your own browser. On this static version they are not transmitted anywhere, and they are cleared from the page as soon as the form is submitted. If a mail service is connected later, that service and its own privacy policy will govern the delivery.

Technical information

Like every website, the server that hosts these pages may record the address a request came from and the page requested, in a standard access log kept by the hosting provider. That information is used to keep the site online and secure.

Cookies

The rebuilt site sets no cookies of its own. It loads a web font from a font service, and that request is subject to the font provider's policy. If you prefer to avoid it, your browser can block third party requests.

Search and preferences

The lesson search runs entirely inside your browser against a list of published lessons. Nothing you type into the search box is sent anywhere, and no record of it is kept.

Links to other sites

Reference links take you to documentation and other resources run by other organisations. Once you follow one, that site's privacy policy applies rather than this one.

Your choices

Because the site keeps no account and no profile, there is nothing to delete. If you have sent a message and want it removed, ask through the contact form and it will be removed.

Changes

If the way information is handled ever changes, this page will say so before the change takes effect. The terms of use also apply to your visit.
